1989 Porsche 924

Description

This 924 is any petrol heads dream, and one for the Porsche fans indeed! The car was given as a present to the owner by another member of their family – bought at a car dealer in Ireland – however, unfortunately it does not have any service history or original manuals because of this. There are no known faults with the car though and has been enjoyed by its previous owner for the past year. A classic in every sense of the word and an opportunity that cannot be missed here at Fine Car Company!

The Porsche 924, making its public debut in November 1975, replaced the 914 and 912E. It was the first production Porsche to use a water-cooled front engine with rear wheel drive and is a true classic nowadays!

This particular 924 has low mileage (34,383) and has been kept in beautiful condition since new throughout its life of 7 owners.

Includes ‘Autobahn Porsche Rolls-Royce’ service sticker in engine bay

Mated to a VW 2.0 I4 engine under the bonnet, this car was ahead of its time producing 123hp in the European spec.

Brilliant original number plate reading ‘F924 NUT’, perfect for a 924 ‘nut’

Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection

Original leather rear seats and upholstery in cream with cream floor carpets. New front leather front seats done in 2021 to look original

Black front dash and steering wheel with black leather armrest/cubby hole

Originally blue from factory however sprayed in 2021 in beautiful non-metallic purple making it rare and a big head turner!

Windshield has also been recently replaced

Very minimal rust, as expected from a 33-year-old car

Tyres and original wheels are both in great condition

Respray isn’t perfect (slight orange peel effect), however, this is not too noticeable to the average person

Interior gear stick gaiter loose – easily repaired

Brakes in good condition

No known prior body damage or mechanical faults

Loose metal on driver side rear windowsill

Slight wear to the ‘Porsche’ front badge

Engine is in good condition and runs well thanks to its brilliant German engineering

Condition is well documented in the photos and overall, this 924 is evidently in great condition with low mileage
