1974 Jaguar E Type V12

1974 Jaguar E Type V12

Description

1974 Jaguar E- Type Convertible.

It is rumoured that Enzo Ferrari described the Jaguar E- Type as the most beautiful car ever made on its release in March 1961. This British sports car was manufactured from 1961 until 1975. Its combination of beauty, high performance, and competitive pricing established the model as an icon of the motoring world.

The E-Type was based on Jaguar's D-Type racing car, which had won the Le Mans 24 hours for three consecutive years beginning in 1955.

In 1971 the series 3 was released with its new 5.3 V12 petrol Jaguar engine, producing a 0-60 mph of just under 7 seconds, giving the driver an altogether different experience from the earlier cars, while still maintaining the feel and experience of a proper Jaguar sports car.

The owner says the car is presented in good clean condition and drives really well, perfect purchase for Summer cruising.
