1950 Morris Six

Description

1950 Morris Six MS

This wolf in sheep’s clothing built by the British Motor Company between 1948 and 1953 and costing just £671 including tax. The straight-six engine that powered the flagship Morris was a gem and gave the car a decent turn of speed as well as impressive refinement. A test in 1950 by the motor magazine “The Motor” resulted with a top speed of 82.5 mph highly adequate for the roads of the day!

This mid-size car is in lovely condition having been restored around 2009 including interior retrim in Burgundy hide.

The engine has also been rebuilt, runs perfectly and is a joy to drive.

According to its custodians this Morris is believed to be the oldest example left on UK roads and well known in club circles.
